Five minutes of brain training a day, scored against yourself.
Complete short, adaptive exercises for attention, working memory, mental speed and flexibility. Your progress is compared with your own history, not a fictional global IQ score.
How it works
Calibrate
A short run through all six exercises sets a sensible starting difficulty for each one.
Train
Five, ten or fifteen minute workouts. Each set adjusts its difficulty from how the last one went.
Progress
Track accuracy, speed and difficulty per exercise against your own earlier sessions.
Six brain training exercises
Each one is a well known cognitive task, adapted into a short timed set. Every exercise is free to try in the browser.
Response inhibition
Respond fast to the target shape and hold back when it is not the target. Trains attention held over time and the brake on an automatic response.
Selective attention
Name the ink colour of a word, not the word itself. Trains the ability to keep the relevant feature in front and push a stronger habit aside.
Working memory
Hold a moving run of positions in mind and say whether the current one repeats the position from N steps back. Trains working memory under a steady pace.
Visual-spatial memory
Watch a run of cells light up, then reproduce the order. Trains visual-spatial working memory and the span you can hold at once.
Mental flexibility
Classify the same shape by colour or by form, following a cue that keeps changing. Trains the cost of dropping one rule and picking up another.
Mental arithmetic
Solve short arithmetic problems against the clock and pick the right answer from four. Trains mental arithmetic and how fast you can apply it.
Measured against you, not a population
Every score describes how you did on that specific task, on that day, at that difficulty. There is no percentile, no ranking against other people and no single overall number that claims to summarise your mind.
What each exercise measuresYour data stays here
Your training data stays on this device. No account, no server, no tracking. The phone apps make one network call, to check a Pro purchase with the store.
Read the privacy noteWhat this is not
This app is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not measure intelligence.
Practising a task reliably improves that task. Evidence that training on tasks like these transfers to everyday thinking is mixed and far from settled. Train because focused practice is useful and measurable, not because an app promised you a sharper brain.
Start with calibration
It takes about five minutes. No account, no email address.
